Anthony D. Currie, Jr. was born and raised in Chicago, IL. He studied Organizational Communication at Northern Illinois University where he also served as a member of student government, the Black Student Union and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. After graduating, he started a career in college recruitment at Kaplan University, one of the largest online post-secondary institutions in the United States. Advise working adults on how to acquire funding and complete their education in a distance learning format while balancing work and a family.

In 2007, Anthony relocated to Phoenix, AZ where he furthered his recruitment career in post-secondary educational institutions and studied Business. He went on to work for DeVry University and the Art Institute education system of schools. In Phoenix, he began a career in learning and development as a Corporate and Leadership Trainer. He currently serves as the Leadership Trainer for Freedom Financial Network, the largest debt relief company in the United States. With a continuous interest to develop himself, Anthony became certified in world-class training programs including 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, Situational Leadership, and more. Most recently, Anthony trained Scouts and Executive Leaders within the Memphis Grizzlies organization in the NBA.

Shortly after relocating to Phoenix, Anthony formed The Toe Stoppas, LLC and Rink Outside the Box, a (501c3), both venues dedicated to providing physical, social, and educational programs through the form of roller skating. Anthony is an avid reader and enjoys topics such as business, leadership, and social science. He is married and is the father of three lovely children.
