Vision of the Founder

Vision of the Founder

Hello, I am Geneva Cole

As Founder and CEO of Freedom’s Dream Global L3C LLC – I am excited to share our Social Enterprise – a lifelong vision to give back to my community to uplift our youth. I was motivated by a 9-week, life changing trip to Haiti, which sparked the flame to get started.

The mission is two-fold: with an outdoor youth summer camp program for underserved children in my local community, St. Cloud, MN; and to facilitate fundraising for Haitian owned non-profit organizations addressing the Humanitarian Crisis in Haiti to help create sustainable solutions for their own communities.

Our Slogan: “Empowering a New Generation at Home and Abroad”

The company is a distributor of promotional items with a selling initiative to help fund our mission and projects.

The organization’s current goal is to build a team of workers and volunteers, and to launch a social media marketing campaign to raise awareness for our mission to create capacity building funding that will create economic viability and feasibility.

Freedom’s Dream Global, L3C LLC is a newly formed grassroots organization established on

May 1, 2019, (having been in the idea and brainstorming stage for three years since), with a vision to educate, uplift, and inspire the underserved by lending a helping hand verses a handout (to help educate and inspire low-income communities at home and abroad) — the organization is an L3C Social Enterprise (“a for profit with a non-profit soul”). The company has a social mission and purpose that aims to grant and invest in its mission, while galvanizing and inviting others to participate through financial and in-kind donations, as well as other collaborative and fundraising campaigns.

We also aim to fund our mission by our selling initiative as a distributor of Promotional Items to corporations, small businesses, sport/athletic groups, educational, and healthcare institutions that wish to become contributing partners as socially responsible stakeholders to promote social community impact and social change.

Our Focus at Home and Abroad:

St. Cloud, MN
Our program at home is to create an Outdoor Youth Summer Camp (subsidized) for our youth (ages 5 to 12), to start in the summer of 2024 and to collaborating with other youth community groups. While also considering age groups 13 – 15 to participate as counselors at camp to also enjoy nature, fun and life learning skills. The program will have an extended virtual monthly session to keep our youth engaged on the things they learned; plus provide quarterly field trips of interest.

Haiti

To advocate for Haitian non-profit organizations who have organized themselves to address the social ills that affect their country and bring awareness to raise funds for the ongoing Humanitarian Crisis.

Freedom’s Dream Global has started an official partnership registered in Haiti with Francophone Association for the Protection of the Environment and Childhood (AFPEE), whose mission is training youth to become entrepreneurs in the field of agricultural and ecosystems; also working with two other organizations: (1) C-Men (Social Action Ministry), whose mission provides care packages for prisoners and patient hospital care; (2) Organization for the Development of New Haitian Generation (O.D.N.G.H.), whose mission is to build ten (10) artesian wells and hen house farms to create employment and income opportunities in their local communities.

Summary

As the founder, I am uniquely qualified to conduct my mission after retiring in 2013 working 40 years in administration for major corporations; worked in outreach ministry for 20 years; and 10 years as a sole-proprietor printing broker. I also created a non-profit organization to advocate for Somali refugees 2001-2004 and was selected as one of nine “Movers and Shapers” of Central MN by the St. Cloud Times Newspaper and featured on as the magazine cover story for Initiative Foundation.

I have single-handedly worked tirelessly for three years to structure this organization with great passion, and I am finally ready to launch, seek funding, and build collaborations to conduct our goals.

We welcome and look forward to support from all those with a willing heart to help make the world a better place. “Together We Can”.

I want to thank everyone who has taken the time to read the vision. Please share with your family and friends.
